Synopsis:
At present a young generation of Viennese musicians is contributing to a musical genre, the classic Wiener Lied, and giving new life to old favorites with their youthful energy and intelligent humor. Starting with their music, the film takes a look at various aspects of popular music in Vienna, both in recent years and the past. With new and archival footage of the city, it's also a film about Vienna itself.
