Synopsis:
Gary, Rick and David are American teens with one thing on their mind. They move from party to party, trying out their latest chat-up lines, which usually ends in miserable failure for Gary, as he's more interested in finding true romance than a quick fumble in someone's parents' bedroom. So when Karen arrives at their school, Gary falls head over heels in love, but Rick's baser intentions towards her threaten to break up their friendship for good. Championed by Eli Roth (Hostel) as one of the most underrated films of its era, The Last American Virgin is a raucous but also surprisingly intelligent and sobering look at the hideousness of growing up, peer pressures, misplaced expectations and unforeseen consequences. It's also a superb snapshot of the early Eighties music scene, with the soundtrack featuring Blondie, Devo, The Human League, KC and the Sunshine Band, The Police, U2 and many others.

Last American Virgin is a comedy-drama remake of a 1978 Israeli movie titled 'Eskimo Limon' ('Lemon Popsicle), and it revolves around three American high school students, the protagonist Gary (Lawrence Monoson), a typical highschooler and all around nice guy who works delivering pizzas as his after-school job. Gary's two best friends are Rick (Steve Antin), a slick ladies man, and David (Joe Rubbo), the fat-boy comic relief. Most of the plot involves their numerous failed attempts to have sex and lose their virginity. During one particular night, the three guys pick up three girls at their local diner hangout with the promise of cocaine (instead they use Sweet'n Low) and take them to Gary's house. Gary gets stuck with the homely and overweight Millie, a friend of the other two more attractive girls. But their party gets interupted when Gary's parents return and chaos breaks out...

The friendship of a group of young friends struggling with teen sex, drugs, and work is jeopardized by a romantic interest which may turn pals into bitter rivals.
