Synopsis:
Both from a modest background, born a few months apart, Charles Pathé in 1863, Léon Gaumont in 1864, the two men revealed the magic of cinema to the world. If his paternity goes to the Lumière brothers - without forgetting Georges Méliès, Pathé and Gaumont knew how to industrialize it, perfect it, develop it with a prodigious talent of visionaries at a time, the end of the 19th century, when no entrepreneur would have bet a penny on what was originally a fairground attraction. However, in barely twenty years, these two geniuses of business and innovation built the foundations on which cinema continues to flourish.
