Synopsis:

Josh Barnaby, a six year old boy, is handed a talisman by his father - an ex-climatologist, and is told the talisman is for protection. Later on in life, Josh - now a TV news reporter, is sent to Romania on an assignment where he visits a gypsy village. Josh learns that the talisman that has been is his possession for all these years - was in fact forged from the knife of an acient gypsy who stood to win. He also finds out that there is a cult of people who want to get their hands on the talisman! News breaks that a tornado is on its way, The Meta Tempesta, a tornado so fierce, it could inflict destruction on a biblical scale! Josh learns that the talisman holds a power more greater than he could ever possibly imagine. He is the chosen one to fulfil the talimans destiny.

When a photographer teams with a ambitious journalist to break an eerie story about a fanatic cult, the duo underestimates the power their foes wield over the elements in this windblown tale of terror from filmmaker Alan Jakubowicz. Years ago, Josh Barnaby's father was killed by a deadly tornado. As an adult, Josh does battle with his demons as a photographer and storm tracker bent on capturing the brutal beauty of nature on film. Soon making the acquaintance of reporter Nickie Flynt, Josh agrees to help his newfound partner crack the case of a fanatic cult who seem to be on a first name basis with Mother Nature. As Josh and Nickie work feverishly to solve the mystery of the mysterious cult, a category F5 tornado threatens to blow the entire investigation to smithereens.

Haunted by the death of his father, who was killed by a tornado years earlier, Josh Barnaby finds himself tracking the deadly storms... this time as a photographer. When he partners up with Nickie Flynt, a reporter searching for the story of her career, he soon finds himself mixed up with forces of a different nature. A fanatic cult who is somehow able to influence the elements is after them, and as Josh works to fit the pieces of the puzzle together, the ultimate tornado forms: a category F5. Now it's a race against time as the mega-storm threatens to obliterate everything - and everyone - in it's path.
