Synopsis:

A man with a mysterious past, lives and works with a widow and her son at a roadside service station. His ex-wife and daughter turn up and it is revealed that he used to be a popular singer, but his career ended when he became an alcoholic. He has to decide whether to continue his new life or return to the old one.

Alchoholic former country singer Mac Sledge makes friends with a young widow and her son. The friendship enables him to find inspiration to resume his career.

A broken-down, middle-aged country singer gets a new wife, reaches out to his long-lost daughter, and tries to put his troubled life back together.
