Synopsis:

THE BRIEF is a legal drama which fuses drama, both legal and personal, with suspense and a sharp wit. Alan Davies (JONATHAN CREEK, BOB AND ROSE) stars as criminal practice barrister Henry Farmer. In the courtroom Henry is a consummate professional, but in his private life he's a mess. With huge debts to pay, a never-ending workload and an affair with a politician's wife to deal with, he constantly struggles to stay afloat. Cherie Lunghi (SECRET DIARY OF A CALL GIRL) and Christopher Fulford (WAKING THE DEAD, WHITECHAPEL) also star in this, the complete series 1 and 2 of THE BRIEF.

Alan Davies (Bob And Rose, Jonathan Creek) stars as Henry Farmer, a criminal practice barrister engaged in an ongoing fight for justice in the courtroom.
