Synopsis:

A compelling Christopher Walken stars as a novelist who takes his family on a vacation in the mountains, but upon arriving is faced with a seeming abduction from a strange alien force. Suffering from depression and writer's block, Walken's family believe he is having hallucinations and convince him to see a psychiatrist. But when he returns to the cabin and finally communicates with the 'visitors', Walken discovers that their purpose may be to act as agents of personal transformation.

Whitley Strieber goes with his family and some friends to his holiday home in the forest. They experience some weird occurances, are they UFO activity? Whitley is abducted and then faces a horrible dilema; was I abducted or am I going mad? He sees a psychiatrist who tries to use hypnotic regression to discover the truth.

Starring Christopher Walken and Frances Sternhagen, it tells a story of a family that experiences an extraterrestrial phenomenon while on vacation at a remote home in the wilderness during which the father is abducted and all of their lives change.
