The Visitors (1993)

A medieval nobleman and his squire are accidentally transported to contemporary times by a senile sorcerer. He enlists the aid of his descendent to try to find a way to return home, all the while trying to cope with the cultural and technological changes distinguishing his time from ours.

The Corridors of Time: The Visitors II (1998)

Knight Godefroy has to return to our time from 1023 to get back the sacred jewels that Jacquouille has taken to the 20th century.

Just Visiting (2001)

A knight and his valet are plagued by a witch, and to repair the damage they make use of the services of a wizard. However, something goes wrong and they are transported from the 12th century to the year 2000. There the knight meets some of his family and slowly learns what this new century is like. However, he still needs to get back to the 12th century to deal with the witch, so he starts looking for a wizard.

The Visitors
A comedy about a heroic knight from the Middle Ages, Thibault, and his bumbling servant, Andre. Finding himself in modern day Chicago, the knight meets up with his great-great-great-great granddaughter, Julia and her scheming fiancé, Hunter. Completely out of their element, the knight and the servant's attempts to cope with modern life wreak hilarious havoc all around them.
The Corridors of Time: The Visitors II
The sequel opens with a prologue showing Jacquouille and Ginette (Marie-Anne Chazel) creating confusion in a contemporary supermarket. A stolen relic left in the 20th Century must be returned to the past, or Godefroy's marriage will be cursed. Jacquart faces his own problems -- wolves, angry peasants, torture, and burning at the stake. All the key characters flit back and forth between the 1990s and the past. In the present day, playboy Hubert de Montmirail (Reno) has been missing for 15 years, and his shrewish wife Cora (Claire Nadeau) finds the missing relic. When Godefroy turns up, he's naturally assumed to be the missing Hubert. Les Visiteurs II had the biggest opening day in French film history, breaking the record set by Men in Black and generating Gallic guffaws galore in a country where few films ever receive the sequel treatment.
Just Visiting
Produced by the venerable French studio Gaumont but set in the United States and filmed entirely in English, this broad, bumptious, fitfully amusing comedy is the third film in a series that began in 1993 with the hugely successful 'Les Visiteurs.' Starring Jean Reno and Christian Clavier, 'Les Visiteurs' told of a medieval count (Reno) and his groveling valet (Clavier) who were propelled into the provincial France of the 20th century by some wayward wizardry. The new film is virtually a remake of the original 'Les Visiteurs,' with the action transferred to Chicago and the characters' names altered for ease of pronunciation, but with most of the original gags and situations intact.
