Synopsis:
***WARNING: Cent mille dollars au soleil, Faut pas prendre les enfants.. and Elle boit pas, elle fume pas... DO NOT HAVE ENGLISH Language Options!***

The Old Guard: Three old chums who are number ones in the business of practical jokes decide to leave their village from Vendée in France in order to go and live in a old people's nursing home. Pested off and unable to stand their jokes any more, the villagers are more than happy to see them leaving off. But the three old men, soon enough, feeling bored of the nursing home, make up their mind to come back and settle down in the village. Taxi for Tobruk: Tobrouk, October 1942, a French commando blows up a German gas depot. Four French soldiers survive the operation and manage to get away but are soon lost in the desert. After an exhausting day-long march, they spot five Germans in an armored car, only one is spared and made prisoner. The start of a surprising adventure where, in the face of danger, the men discover the meaning of solidarity. The President: At 73, France's ex-president, Emile Beaufort, faces declining health, but he still plays a vigorous role behind the scenes as a philosopher and, potentially, as a power broker. In particular, his relationship with Philippe Chalamont comes into play: Chalamont seems in line to be the next Prime Minister, and Beaufort's history with him is long, deep, and problematic. As Beaufort dictates his memoirs, his narrative take us to occasions, 15 and 20 years before, in which Chalamont and he clashed. Chalamont is not without talent and guile: he comes directly to Beaufort to see if they can sort things out. What will Beaufort, ill health and all, do? The Counterfeiters of Paris: 'Le Dabe' retired many years ago and now he lives in the Tropics where he owns stables and horses. He is a very rich man. He was the king of all money counterfeiters. He is contacted from Paris to organize a new job. He says no. But when he finds out the the currency that should be counterfeited is the Dutch florin, he accepts immediately. He retired after having counterfeited 100 florin notes just before the Queen Wilhelmina retired them from circulation. He flies to Paris. But the gang is not to be trusted, at least not all of them. A Monkey in Winter: Albert is an inn owner who vowed never to drink again if he and his wife survived the war. They did, and the reformed alcoholic keeps his vow. But times have changed and soon after the war, Albert comes in contact with Gabriel, a young man prone to heavy bouts with the bottle. Gabriel is conflicted over visiting his young daughter in a nearby school and in a moment of nostalgia, Albert takes off with him on one major binge -- and havoc results. The Gentleman from Epsom: The story takes place in the racecourses around Paris. A so-called major sells his tips to naive characters. Any Number Can Win: Charles (Jean Gabin), a sixtyish career criminal fresh out of jail, rejects his wife's plan for a quiet life of bourgeois respectability. He enlists a former cellmate, Francis (Alain Delon), to assist him in pulling off one final score, a carefully planned assault on the vault of a Cannes casino. Bad luck and Francis's lack of professionalism set the caper maddeningly askew, and the stolen cash resurfaces in an unexpected manner. Crooks in Clover: Ex-gangster Fernand (Lino Ventura) receives a call from a dying friend, a mob boss nicknamed 'The Mexican'. The doomed mobster talks Fernand into taking care of some criminal business and looking after his soon-to-be-married daughter. When a longtime mobster heavy, Volfoni takes exception to Fernand for being an outsider, they come after Fernand who is equal to the task. He defends himself in a series of comical killings from the onslaught of the mob. Greed in the Sun: Rocco and his female accomplice, Angèle hijack a truck from a trucking company in the Saharan desert. The head of the trucking company, Castigliano hires Rocco's friend, Hervé and a newly employed German, Hans to go after him and bring back the valuable goods. After the two run into some trouble Castigliano sends a second truck driven by Mitch and Khenouche. The Great Spy Chase: A cold-war spy parody. After the death of an armaments manufacturer, an international group of spies is drawn into a high-stakes battle of wits to obtain the valuable military patents which have been inherited by the lovely widow. Don't Take God's Children for Wild Geese: Rita will play her relationships, especially in love, among the crooks to get her share of gold bars. She Does Not Drink, Smoke or Flirt But… She Talks: Housemaid Georgette (Girardot) loves to gossip and this causes major trouble to people around her.
