Synopsis:
The Lost Tribe: Jungle Jim rescues a beautiful native girl, Li Wanna, who is being chased by two sailors. She comes from a hidden village and the men were using her to find it. Jim visits the village and learns they are rich in diamonds. The village elder gives Jim a bag of diamonds which he wants delivered to the men looking for them. A bag of diamonds will not satisfy them however. Along the way, Jungle Jim faces several challenges. Pygmy Island: After Jungle Jim finds an American army captain's dog tags among the remains of a dead pygmy, he joins a U.S. military investigation not only to find the missing soldier, Captain Ann Kingsley, but also to look into a recently discovered kind of rope that will not burn or break. The pygmy had been killed by the Bush Devil cult but little is known of them. In fact, others are after the plant used to make this indestructible rope fiber and it's up to Jungle Jim to stop them. He will face crocodiles, stampeding elephants and a gorilla along the way. Mark of the Gorilla: Nazis dressed to look like Great Apes are looking for gold, and Jungle Jim must stop them. Captive Girl: Jungle Jim is asked to find a young woman who supposedly lives in the jungle with her pet tiger. It's believed that she may be the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Martindale, explorers who long ago who were looking for the lagoon of the dead, a place where legend has it witch doctors held human sacrifices. Some of the locals, particularly the witch doctor Hakim, believe she is a she-devil who is out to cause them harm. As well Barton, an gold-hunting explorer, is also looking for the girl and lagoon which he believes contains a treasure of gold. Jungle Jim will have to fight several jungle animals along the way before he rescues the girl from Hakim. Jungle Manhunt: After Jungle Jim rescues Anne Lawrence from deadly rapids, he learns that she is looking for one-time football hero Bob Miller who disappeared 9 years before when his military flight disappeared over the jungle. There are problems in the area and tribes are being attacked and enslaved by the Skeleton Men. They learn that a white man with a gun is leading the Skeleton Men and Anne fears that it might be Miller. The tribesmen are being put into forced labor in a mine and Jim sets out to rescue them. Along the way they will meet strange creatures and eventually be taken prisoner themselves. Jim finds a way out.
