Synopsis:
Flip That Romance: As Spring blooms, rival house flippers who once dated, Jules Briggs and Lance Waddell, end up owning dual sides of a dilapidated duplex. They decide ownership of the entire complex will be signed over to the flipper whose renovated side rents for the most money and start a flipping contest. Word of the 'dueling duplexes' reaches the editor of Innovative Designs, who offers the winner a magazine spread. They lock horns trying to out-DIY each other, rekindling their romance along the way. Friend Request: Frustrated by her unsuccessful blind dates, Samantha stumbles into a photo exhibition, sees and likes the photographer, and writes him an email. But the email is intercepted by the photographer's son, who uses his father's identity to arrange a date for his widower father, because he doesn't like his father's blonde manager and fears that she could become his stepmother. Still under his father's name, the son asks out Samantha. When she arrives, of course the identity theft is uncovered, and an embarrassed Samantha turns and tries to go home. But their fate might still hold some unexpected twists and turns. Tulips in Spring: Rose Newell (Fiona Gugelman), the daughter of the owners of Payden Farms, returns home to find that the farm is in financial trouble and her parents may be forced to sell. She meets Tom Novak (Lucas Bryant), the handsome local 'flower broker', for whom she begins to have romantic feelings. A final effort to save the farm is engineered by Tom when he arranges for Frank (Kevin McNulty), Rose's father, to enter his prize blooms in a contest. When the flowers are sabotaged, Rose must attempt to salvage the situation and get more flowers to bloom, while facing decisions of the heart with Tom, resolving issues with her father, and choosing to return to her life in Los Angeles or stay on her family's farm.
