Synopsis:

The Story of Little John Bailey: John Bailey carelessly ignite a fire in the forest but with his imagination and a little help from a new friend, he is able to put the blaze and win back the favours of the forest inhabitants. David: A giant trying in vain to kill little David. The Killing of an Egg: A man's dinner that inexplicably starts speaking to him is merely the start to a very strange series of events. On Land, at Sea and in the Air: Short animation telling three stories - of a man at home, a boat at sea and a bird. All three are seen simultaneously via a split screen and occasionally coincide. Home on the Rails : A train runs through an old couple's home, constantly disrupting their peace. Oh What a Knight: A knight braves various dangers in order to rescue a damsel in distress. Spotting a Cow: A painter creates objects and creatures from some blotches. His creations start leading their own lives and become a threat to him. Sunny Side Up: Short animated story of a castaway and his reflection on a remote island. The Writer: A medieval-era writer creates such interesting stories that he attracts the attention of Death. Uncles & Aunts I: Uncles and aunts and otherwise related people. Revealing snapshots of their lives and times. As long as they hold out, a series to be continued. Uncles & Aunts III: Through a series of family snapshots, we are introduced to a family. The accompanying captions comment on everyday scenes featuring uncles, aunts and in-laws. The Water People : In a small country, surrounded by a dyke, dwell the Water People. They live partly submerged in water, for instead of keeping it out, the dyke keeps the water in. Their King, however, hates water and tries to sell out. 3 Misses: Three interlocking tales of damsels in distress. An urban scene: a man sees a woman fall off the roof of the neighboring apartment building. A Western scene: a cowboy hears a woman tied to the railroad tracks and an approaching train. And a fantasy scene: seven dwarfs, reading the tale of Snow White, sense a witch passing by with a poison apple. Each races to save their respective "miss" (and sometimes get involved with the stories of the others); each runs into a staggering number of obstacles along the way (including a steadily dwindling supply of dwarves). Who will succeed? 2D or not 2D: Bruno and Frieda are in love. They run towards each other but fail to meet.
