Synopsis:
An American comic (Patsy Kensit) is trying to make it in the comedy dens of Paris, but her soon-to-expire visa forces her to visit a marriage broker. He fixes her up with a songwriter (Stephane Freiss), but French immigration remains suspicious even after the marriage.

TV film set in Paris centreing around Nick, a musician who lives in Montmartre and Deena, an American artist who enter into a marriage of convenience as Deena wishes to stay in France.

An American stand-up comic needs a greencard in France so she marries a French songwriter who needs money.
