Synopsis:
Indian Uprising: It's 1885 in Arizona and an Army Captain has dispersed his troops to keep the whites off of Government land thereby keeping the peace with the Apaches. But there are those in Tucson that want the miners back looking for gold and they put pressure on officials in Washington. Soon a new commander arrives, the troops are recalled, and the miners go after gold. Whites then kill a miner with an arrow so they can attack the Indians hoping the troops wipe them out when they retaliate. When the Redskins Rode: In 1753, Colonel George Washington and frontiersman Christopher Gist are proudly introducing their protégé, Delaware Indian Prince Hannoc to Williamsburg, Virginia society. French spy Elizabeth Leeds romances Hannoc, hoping to swing the Delawares to the French side in the impending colonial war. Hannoc saves Washington and his men from a French trap during a peace mission. When Hannoc's father, Chief Shingiss, comes to Williamsburg to sign a mutual defense pact with the British, he is murdered by French spies. Hannoc and Indian maiden Morna unmask Miss Leeds as a spy just as war breaks out, with Washington and his troops besieged at Fort Necessity. Stage to Tucson: A group of outlaws posing as Southern sympathizers and led secretly by freight-line owner Jim Maroon are raiding stagecoaches, and this is a threat to the Union communications. Grif Holbrook, a trouble-shooter for the Butterfield Stage Line, and Union man Barney Broderick team up to try and put a stop to the activity, when they aren't fighting over the charms of Kate Crocker. Comanche: Indian scout Jim Read (Dana Andrews) is picked by his commander (John Litel) to set up a meeting between Comanche Chief Quanah Parker (Kent Smith) and a representative from Washington (Lowell Gilmore) to negotiate a peace treaty. People from the Comanche tribe as well as the U.S. Calvary have reason to prevent the meeting from ever taking place. Romance, betrayal and fighting ensue. Brave Warrior: In Indiana of the early 1800s, conflict once again arises between the United States and Great Britain over territory and boundaries. Each side endeavors to gain the support of the Shawnee Indian tribes in the area. Governor William Henry Harrison enlists the aid of Steve Ruddell, whose friendship with the Shawnee chief Tecumseh goes back to childhood. Tecumseh's leadership of the Shawnee is contested by his brother, known as The Prophet, who sides with the British. Tecumseh, who grew up as a childhood playmate of Steve and of Laura McGregor, loves Steve as a brother and hopes to marry Laura. But Laura is in love with Steve. Laura's father, Shayne McGregor, secretly leads local support of the British against the Americans, even though it risks the life and love of his daughter. Everything comes to a head at the battle of Tippecanoe. Geronimo: An American Legend: The Apache Indians have reluctantly agreed to settle on a US Government approved reservation. Not all the Apaches are able to adapt to the life of corn farmers. One in particular, Geronimo, is restless. Pushed over the edge by broken promises and necessary actions by the government, Geronimo and thirty or so other warriors form an attack team which humiliates the government by evading capture, while reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. Sitting Bull: Chief Sitting Bull of the Sioux tribe is forced by the Indian-hating General Custer to react with violence, resulting in the famous Last Stand at Little Bighorn. Parrish, a friend to the Sioux, tries to prevent the bloodshed, but is court- martialed for 'collaborating' with the enemy. Sitting Bull, however, manages to intercede with President Grant on Parrish's behalf.
