Synopsis:

June 2014, the next stage of the restoration of Chartres Cathedral begins. It will extend over two and a half years. These are the most spectacular and emblematic spaces of the cathedral which will be renovated: the nave, with its 35 meter high walls, and the stained glass windows which frame it, renowned as being the most important set of stained glass windows of the 13th century of Europe. The documentary sets out to meet restorers, archaeologists, scientists and architects who unite their passion behind the scenes of this exceptional project.
