Synopsis:

Join four-time Emmy (R) nominee Jack Klugman as the coroner with an unusually active role in police investigations as he looks deeper into what happened to a body... before and after a crime. Not content with surface evidence, Quincy uses forensic science to delve further, in a passionate attempt to bring the perpetrators of crime to justice.

Quincy and Sam are working as Coroners. Inspecting dead people they often see facts that don't match the theories of the police how or if really they were murdered.
