Synopsis:
In Glasgow, Scotland, the Pakistani parents of Casim Khan have decided that he is going to marry his cousin Jasmine. Unfortunately, Casim has just fallen in love with his younger sister's music teacher Roisin. Not only is she 'goree', a white woman, she is also Irish and catholic, things that may not go down well with Casim's parents. They start a relationship but Casim is torn between following his heart and being a good son.

Casim is second generation Pakistani from Glasgow. Working as a DJ in Glasgow at one of the coolest venues, Casim dreams of buying his own club. His parents are devout Muslims and plan for him to marry his beautiful cousin Jasmine, who is soon to arrive to the UK. Plans go awry when Casim meets Roisin. A teacher at his sisters school, Roisin is different from any other girl he has met. She's gorgeous, intelligent and definitely posses a mind of her own. She and Casim soon fall deeply in love. When their relationship is discovered, the repercussions of the scandal reach far and wide and sparks fly as cultures clash and personalities collide.
