Synopsis:

The black sheep of the Argyll family, Jack Argyll, was accused of murdering their matriarch a year ago, but now a man shows up on their doorstep claiming Jack's innocence. The family must come to terms with this news and the fact that the real killer might still be among them.

Christmas 1954. Wealthy philanthropist Rachel Argyll is murdered at her family estate Sunny Point. Her adopted son Jack Argyll is arrested for her murder. He vehemently protests his innocence.

Mystery thriller about a research scientist returning to England after an Antarctic exploration. He has the address book of a man he met two years ago, but learns that the man has been executed for murder. He sets about clearing his name and uncovering the true murderer.
