ALISON'S BIRTHDAY (1981) When young Alison Findlay (Joanne Samuel) is invited back to her childhood home to celebrate her nineteenth birthday, she must not only face the past, but is subjected to intense psychological haunting from her surrounds. Facing 'nervous exhaustion', with nightmares pushing her to the edge of sanity, her boyfriend Pete (Lou Brown) calls upon an occultist friend with a Ouija board to uncover some startling truths about Alison's past. In the creepy tradition of Rosemary's Baby, Alison's Birthday is a haunting trip into the dark depths of despair.
SOLO (1978) Young Australian hitchhiker Judy (Lisa Peers) looks for love and companionship in single father Paul (Vincent Gil). Paul occupies his time flying fire patrol planes above a North Island forest, but his son Billy is not at all comfortable with the new addition to his family. Asserting himself, he looks for a way to control the family dynamic, taking to the air in solo defiance.
