With a military coup being waged on the faraway planet of Galaluna, the King evacuates his teenage daughter and lone heir, Ilana, and orders Lance, a rebellious but capable solider, and Octus, a bio-cybernetic robot, to escort her to safety on Earth - where the three attempt to blend into everyday life. But everyday Earth teenage life has different complexities than their home world.
