Synopsis:
Un très respectable professeur d'Université seul pendant les vacances se rend à son cercle. A la porte un portrait de femme attire son attention. Rencontrant des amis, il refuse de les suivre pour une aventure galante, s'installe dans un fauteuil, s'assoupit et rêve que la jeune femme au portrait l'entraîne dans une aventure invraisemblable au cours de laquelle il commet un crime.
