It is the early morning of December 7, 1941 when 350 Japanese planes completely unexpectedly unleash a devastating shower of bombs on Pearl Harbor. The home port of the mighty American Pacific fleet is barely defended at that time, allowing the Japanese to strike a big blow. The bombs and grenades cause death and destruction and the Americans are very dismayed at this cowardly attack. Several large battleships sink before the cannons have fired a shot. The fighter jets at Honolulu Air Force Base are ablaze. Pearl Harbor The Real Story provides a dramatic picture of the reality of this darkest day in American history through the accounts of seven veterans who were involved as eyewitnesses in the battle of Pearl Harbor from the very first minute.
