Traveling Fairs: Viota pays attention to the fairs that still take place in Santander every July, and which then had their venue just a stone's throw from his house. José Luis: Short film about an aimless young man. Search Time: Santander, 1967. Tina's desire is to leave her hometown and move to London, but her mother does not approve her choice. End of a Winter: Tina decides to leave Santander to go live in Barcelona. That endangers her courtship. Contacts: A man and a woman living in the same pension, but different rooms, grow intimate behind the landlady's back. Everyone's cage: The story of a couple whose relationship is falling apart, with voiceover by two of their friends. Tooth And Nail: Marcos, a union leader, is beaten by the bosses' thugs and is forced to retire while his colleagues hesitate to continue the strike they are carrying out. The one in charge of protecting him is Aurora, a leftist militant who works as a teacher in a secondary school. The film offers a bitter look at the years of the democratic transition in Spain and portrays the frustrated hopes of a broad social sector in the newly born Spanish democracy. Body to Body: The story of various, diverse relationships among different generations near Santander. The film uses flashbacks taken from Viota's earlier film Fin de un invierno, and follows elements of his first feature Contactos. Duration: Short film, shot in 16mm. Visually, the second hand sweeping the face of a clock. Audibly, the ticking of a clock. The passing of 10 minutes of time.
