At the end of the Second World War it became really clear for the world to what horrors has led the German Nazi regime. The Allies discovered the extermination camps where millions of people were brutally murdered. However, the gas chambers were not nearly the only mass murder weapon of the Nazis. From the beginning of the war, so-called Einsatzgruppen (Task Forces) operated through occupied Europe to eliminate 'undesirables'. In practice this corresponded to the brutal murder of over a million innocent people. For a long time there was little known about it, until the recent discovery of movies. This documentary shows you all restored, authentic images of the greatest and most horrible crime in the history of mankind. |
