Synopsis:

Al Goddard, inspecteur à la police des Postes, enquête sur l'assassinat d'un des employés. Grâce à un témoin (une dynamique nonne) le supposé coupable est identifié et notre pandore s'infiltre dans sa bande pour accumuler les preuves et mettre au clair ce qui se trame. C'est-à-dire, le hold-up, entre deux gares, d'un camion de fonds, les semaines à venir. Al parvient vaille que vaille à gagner la confiance des malfrats, mais le danger d'être démasqué devient de plus en plus prégnant...
