Synopsis:

Habituellement peu enclin aux médias, Gerhard Richter a ouvert son studio à Corinna Belz pendant plus de six mois, alors qu'il travaillait à la réalisation d'une série de grandes peintures abstraites. Interrogeant le processus de création de l'artiste allemand, la réalisatrice nous permet d'approcher au plus près le travail d'un des plus grands peintres contemporains, qui défie la photographie à travers ses peintures.
