Synopsis:

The Christmas Twins tells the magical and inspirational story of identical twins Tom and Thomas. Featuring a fantastic dual performance by Aaron Johnson as the mischievous twins and Sean Bean as their long-suffering foster parent, this is unforgettable festive tale for all the family. Unaware of each other's existence, nine-year-old twin brothers Tom and Thomas have experienced polar opposite lives: while Thomas was adopted by a loving family, Tom spent his childhood in an abusive London orphanage. After a chance encounter in a hall of mirrors, the brothers are joyfully reunited and set about getting up to all kinds of mischief. But their tricks backfire when Thomas gets into terrible trouble and only Tom can rescue his newfound brother.

Living in different environments and without actually knowing each other, the nine-year-old boys Tom and Thomas have always been aware of the other's existence. At the time they finally meet Tom is on the run from some child smugglers who operate their business from his boy's home. The smugglers mistake Thomas for Tom and attempt to get him out of the country on a plane. Tom, who has no intention of losing his brother, finds himself in the middle of a smuggling operation and it takes all his efforts to reunite with his brother and bring the family together.

A young boy thinks he's got a lookalike around him, but nobody believes him. Then, he meets Thomas and they switch homes.
