Synopsis:

The Duchess is story of Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart, the 18th Duchess of Alba, set against the historical period of her life. A historical fresco full of rebellion, love and passion, just like the story of Cayetana of Alba herself.

This miniseries, consisting of two episodes, is produced in collaboration with Telecinco Fiction Media as its name suggests is focused on the figure of the Duchess of Alba, which is usually now a regular in the world of heart and will be interpreted by two actresses are well known by viewers as are Irene Visedo (at the time young) and Adriana Ozores (at maturity).

Based on a true story, the tale traces the cosseted, tightly corseted late-18th-century life of Georgiana Spencer, the Duchess of Devonshire, one of those gilded-cage aristocrats who appear to have been primed, pumped and exclusively prized for the fecundity of their wombs.
