Synopsis:
Another uproarious comedy from the director of The Closet and The Dinner Game. When his wife Louise (Virginie Ledoyen, The Beach, 8 Femmes, Shall We Kiss) leaves him for a shrink, Francois Pignon (Patrick Timsit) checks into a Nice hotel with the direst of plans. Unbeknownst to him, the adjoining room is occupied by Ralf (Richard Berry), a hitman who is staking out a key witness in a major corruption trial in the law courts opposite the hotel. When the inept and suicidal Pignon stumbles into Ralf's perfectly laid plans, the perfect killer meets the perfect pest and riotous complications ensue as Pignons fondness for the cold-as-ice assassin grows stronger.

In his hotel room, hired killer Ralph Milan is making preparations to assassinate a key witness in a trial. Next door, François Pignon is about to commit suicide, unable to go on living after his wife left him. Milan is a pro, a man who knows what he is doing, and a man who gets results. Pignon is one of life's losers, a walking disaster area who has barely enough gumption to kill a comatose fly. But Pignon does have one talent, a gift for annoying people and driving them to the edge of reason - as Ralph Milan soon discovers...

An aging mobster is being transported from prison to the courthouse in Nice where he may name names. Milan, a hit man, checks into a hotel with a view of the courthouse; he sets up with a high-powered rifle to wait. François, a self-pitying photographer whose wife has left him, checks into the room next to Milan, intent on suicide. His bumbling, his constant chatter, and his calls to his ex and her husband threaten to keep Milan from success.
