Synopsis:

It is the last week of school before the summer break. The expectation of summer is in the air. The backyard heroes Jopi, Pelle, Lispe, Fabe, Tuikku and Perä-Eemeli are doing many things that adults would not welcome.The film is going through a post-war time in a small Finnish town.

The story is a bit like a war of all against all, but the ending however is the reconciliation and peace. It starts on a sunny day in May and ends one day after school is over. The story takes place in the post-war days, and it is multiplied by that time, because there are no more wonderful backyards and the kind of life that they used to live.
