Synopsis:

In 2002, Jon Nørgaard was at the top of the podium as Denmark's biggest star. He had won Popstars, and there was not a door that was not open, or a red carpet that was not rolled out. 5 years later, many doors have closed, the carpets have been rolled up and only the most perfidious headlines in the gossip magazines remain in people's memories. What happened? Kasper Torsting ('Rocket Brothers') has made a shocking film about it. 'Solo' follows Jon closely through a whirlwind year of ups and downs. We get an unfiltered insight into a world that we only hear rumors about - but never see, and we get really close to the Jon that many love to hate, but that no one really knows. The film takes us behind the facade and shows a grim picture of a young man's lonely world, where all odds are against him, and music is the only way out. We get the story behind the headlines, and perhaps for the first time understand why some can perish in that world.
