Synopsis:

Spain in the fifties, in a village which has grown up around a textile factory. Jorge is the youngest son of the founder and Elisa the daughter of his accountant. Both of them live with their families, stuck in a routine that is hardly affected by small every day worries. Jorge and Elisa only manage to put up with the monotony of their lives because twice a week they spend the afternoon together in a hotel room. There they have created their little world, oblivious to everything outside, a place where they can feel free. When Elisa finds out that the village is beginning to grow suspicious about them she decides to put a stop to the meetings in the city. That very day Jorge takes an important step by appearing at the girl's house. Asking for her hand in marriage is the beginning of their life as a couple and little by little the relationship between Elisa and Jorge becomes more conventional. Until a little story from the past, a love story like any other, opens Elisa's eyes and makes her take a decision which is to change her and Jorge's lives for ever.
