Synopsis:

In The Complete Second Season of Australia's most loved police drama, the departure of an old favourite and the arrival of three new members to the Mt Thomas Police Station. Once again, the team are faced with a number of cases to investigate, often finding themselves in life threatening situations.

The team at Mt Thomas Police Station are outraged when they discover plans to transfer Sergeant Tom Croydon to the city. Tom and the other cops begin a campaign which eventually prevents him from being transferred. And in a tragic episode, Tom's world is shattered when his wife is killed and his daughter is seriously injured in a car accident.

Also, Constable Adam Cooper, a cocky young recruit, joins the Mt Thomas team and has a scare when he is bitten by a man who has HIV. Constable Maggie Doyle's hopes of being a trainee detective take a nose dive when she finds PJ has promised the position to someone else. So enters Constable Rose Egan to the Mt Thomas team. But Maggie has bigger problems when Sean is implicated in a horse racing ring-in and finds herself being investigated by Internal Affairs.
