Synopsis:

Hyacinth Bucket has no doubt that she's a fully paid up member of the upper classes. If only the rest of the world would recognise her social status! Sadly insisting that Bucket be pronounced 'Bouquet,' is not always enough. The stuck-up suburbanite tortures her neighbours and long suffering husband Richard with her obsessive cleanliness, tuneless warbling and tendancy to dole out unsolicited etiquette advice to all and sundry. Unfortunately for Hyacinth, some folks are just beyond redemption, notably sister Daisy, who is shacked up in a run-down house with their poor father and her oafish other half, Onslow.
