Synopsis:

Amina, Fatima and Asma are three friends from small remote islands in the Persian Gulf to the south of Iran. They managed to go to university in Tehran where they take a train that will bring them back to their native village. The movie "Safar" accompanies them along this path in the intimate space of a compartment. This ordinary journey without specific landmarks, turns the hours into an introspection. While parading the landscape through the windows, three paths of life are unfolding, made by so many dreams and desires of hesitation and uncertainty.
