Synopsis:

Oma: A young girl has to conquer her fear for her grandmother who is terminally ill. Vol Au Vent: A boy tries to keep a paper plane up in the air as long as possible. Carried by the wind, and despite some emergency landings, the plane takes us along through the four seasons. Memee: A retirement home on a hill. In one of the many rooms lives Memee, surrounded by family pictures. When she looks through her window, she can see a little house with a smoking chimney. In that house lives a saxophonist. He plays, smokes and makes Memee's heart beat a little faster. Het paradijs: Follows people heading for a better place on either side of the ocean. Although at times their paths do cross, they never really seem to meet. Shattered Past: A man is writing down his memoirs. In the middle of this he suddenly suffers a stroke. This catapults him back to his childhood during the Russian revolution and his family's ensuing escape. Oh Willy...: Forced to return to his naturist roots, Willy bungles his way into noble savagery. Mia: 7-year-old Mia tries to liberate her overworked mother from the clutches of an overpopulated metropolis. In her quest, she unlocks the hidden secrets that make the world turn. Crayon d'Amour: The story is about a man who has lost his wife and the way he handles this loss. Rumours: In the calm of the jungle, an unusual noise scares the animals who panic one after the other; as the rumour spreads, their behavior becomes increasingly irrational. Natasha: The Russian bear Nicolaï immigrated to Europe to prove to the love of his life (his beautiful ex wife Natasha) that he's not a loser. During the day he works as a bear in the zoo, in the evenings he tries to forget his problems by playing the piano. Immigrants come and go, and one day a certain Gennady arrives at the zoo. He turns out to be the new husband of Nicolaï's unforgettable love, Natasha... Day 6011: This story follows an elite robotic soldier. After being alone on guard for more than 6000 days, he encounters his first contact. But things don't go as planned ... Don't be mislead by the computer game look: this is a psychological drama. The story has elements of a Shakespearean tragedy as he struggles with an existential crisis; especially since our hero's function no longer seems to have any purpose ... Tank: On the 15th of September 1916 during the Battle of the Somme the British army for the first time in history used tanks in order to force a breakthrough in the trench war. The use of this new weapon was a hellish experience, both for the defending soldiers in the trenches and the crew inside the tank. For Otto in the trench and Johny in the tank, this proves a turning point.
