Synopsis:

Jessica Simmonds returns from overseas to find her retired professor father in a bitter public fight to save the historic Sydney waterfront houses on Angel Street. After her father's mysterious death, she joins forces with local residents and a union leader against corrupt forces. Based on the real life mysterious disappearance of Juanita Nielsen.

Jessica Simmonds fights to preserve the street in which she grew up being torn apart to make way for high rise developments. When her father dies in a suspicious accident, Jessica takes up the cause and unearths a sinister conspiracy.

A geologist (Elizabeth Alexander) returns to Australia and joins her father (Alexander Archdale) and a labor leader's (John Hargreaves) crusade against urban renewal.
