Synopsis:

Psychologist Venla works at a fertility clinic and yearns for a child. When her long-term boyfriend Antero proves uncooperative, her mind turns to the storeroom at work, housing millions of sperm samples lying dormant in liquid nitrogen. The only thing she knows about the future father is that he is tall with brown hair and blue eyes. Venla's dreams of creating an normal family life start to crumble when symptoms of a romantic kind start to blossom between her and Satu, a sympathetic female doctor who has agreed to help her.

Longtime couple Venla (Minna Haapkyla) and Antero (Kari-Pekka Toivonen) come to a serious impasse in this wry Finnish drama. After years with Antero, Venla wants to start a family, but her boyfriend, worried that parenthood will stifle his speed-skating career, secretly gets a vasectomy. Determined to have a child, Venla seeks help from a female fertility doctor, a decision that breeds new possibilities for the prospective mother when she falls in love with the doctor.
