Synopsis:
Set in Schleswig-Holstein on the German/Danish border. Momme Bief's father has recently died and he travels to the Danish border to inform his grandfather. Confused, missing his new love, and still trying to come to terms with the death, Momme sees the ghost of his father in dreams. His grandfather is also affected, and the news of his son's death whilst he is still grieving for his dead wife as well makes him take off. The story interconnects with Poulsen, a half-Danish police officer who turns private detective when he is not given an assignment he wanted.

Described by director Till Franzen as 'social surrealism', the story centres on 20-year-old Momme who has to travel to the Danish border to tell his grandfather about the recent death of his father. Unable to come to terms with his loss, Momme is visited by his father's ghost who wants to put the past to rights.
