Synopsis:
Ex-hardman Jimmy Kerrigan returns to his home town of Glasgow after nine long years in prison for gun-running. But Jimmy has changed and nobody quite knows what to make of him. Some think he's gone soft, others suspect he's found religion, but no-one asks and he doesn't say. His old crime boss, Donnie McGlone, thinks he wants to set up on his own so keeps a close eye on Jimmy's activities.
