Synopsis:
Ladies of the Chorus
Former burlesque star May and her daughter Peggy dance in the chorus.
Some Like It Hot
Joe, the saxophone player, is Josephine in the all girls band that he joined with Jerry, the bass violin player, to be one step ahead of the mob after witnessing the 1929 St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago.
The Legend of Marilyn Monroe
A documentary about the life and career of 1950s sex symbol Marilyn Monroe, narrated by director John Huston.
Home Town Story
The story revolves around Blake Washburn, a mildly leftist newspaperman, played by Jeffrey Lynn. Returning to his home town, Washburn turns his journalistic vitriol upon the local business interests. Only after his kid sister Katie (Melinda Plowman), trapped in a cave-in, is rescued by locally produced technology, does Washburn realize the value of the capitalistic system.
Remembering Marilyn
Documentary tribute to Marilyn Monroe, includes film clips, interviews with her and the people who knew her.
The Misfits
Gable stars as Gay Langland, an aging hand traveling the byways and working at rodeos with his two comrades, Guido (Eli Wallach) and young Perce Howland (Montgomery Clift). The three men come up with a plan to corral some misfit mustangs and sell them for dog food, but Gay's new girlfriend Roslyn Taber (Marilyn Monroe), a high-minded ex-stripper who has just divorced her husband Ray (Kevin McCarthy) in Reno, is appalled by the plan.

Ladies of the Chorus
Former burlesque star May and her daughter Peggy dance in the chorus. When May has a fight with featured dancer Bubbles, Bubbles leaves the show and Peggy takes her place. When Peggy falls in love with wealthy Randy, May fears class differences may lead to misery. Marilyn sings 'Every Baby Needs a Da Da Daddy' and 'Anyone Can Tell I Love You.'
Some Like It Hot
Joe, the saxophone player, is Josephine in the all girls band that he joined with Jerry, the bass violin player, to be one step ahead of the mob after witnessing the 1929 St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago. After a train ride that sets a record for number of people in an upper berth, they are In Miami. Joe decides to be the man of Sugar Kane's dreams and invites her out to a yacht he doesn't have. But he can use Osgood Fielding's yacht if Jerry - as Daphne - will keep Osgood dancing. The pace gets even giddier when the Chicago mob arrives in Miami for a convention.
The Legend of Marilyn Monroe
A documentary about the life and career of 1950s sex symbol Marilyn Monroe, narrated by director John Huston (who worked with her on 'The Misfits'). Included are interviews with friends, cast and crew who worked with her and others who knew her, clips from her films and some scenes that were cut from her earliest movies and not seen for many years.
Home Town Story
Home Town Story was commissioned as a pro-Big Business tract by General Motors. Home Town Story was fitfully distributed by MGM, then lapsed into obscurity. It might have remained there had it not been for the presence of a young Marilyn Monroe in a supporting part.
Remembering Marilyn
Documentary tribute to Marilyn Monroe, includes film clips, interviews with her and the people who knew her.
The Misfits
The final film of stars Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe is an elegy for the death of the Old West from writer Arthur Miller and director John Huston. Although both Guido and Perce are also in love with Roslyn, she stands by Gay, sure that in the end he will do the right thing, even as he and his pals begin their planned roundup.
