Synopsis:
To date, Lucio Urtubia qualifies as one of the most astonishing political dissidents-cum-career criminals in modern history. A lifelong anarchist, Urtubia (a full-time building contractor from Cascante) not only spent an overwhelming amount of time lifting and dealing in contraband, but pooled his resources with those of Eldridge Cleaver and Che Guevara to railroad one of the most powerful banks in the Western Hemisphere, stealing untold amounts of money from that institution via forged travelers' cheques. Today, Urtubia is retired, and has assimilated more or less fluidly into mainstream Parisian society. With the eponymous documentary Lucio, directors Aitor Arregi and Jose Maria Goenaga tell Urtubia's incredible story.
