Synopsis:

Nancy Pertinace (Alt) is hiding out at a convent in Italy after murdering her husband in vengeance on their wedding day. Her adopted father, mob boss Frank Latella (Eli Wallach), is in New York raising Nancy's child, Anna (Lisa Jakub). Nancy, aka Sister Maria, longs to see her daughter, and begs Frank to have Anna make her First Communion in Italy. Frank agrees, and is reunited with his exiled son, Nearco (Miguel Fernandes). But Nearco and his son, Frank Jr. (Justin Louis), remain estranged. American reporter Hank Farrell (Michael Ontkean) suspects their real identities while falling in love with Nancy.
