Synopsis:
Eleven-year-old Emma is injured in a swimming accident. In desperate attempt to pay for an operation for her, her father ends up losing his fishing boat and livelihood. With things falling apart at home Emma befriends Merrill, a strange young woman who exhibits odd behaviour.

After an accident in a small Maryland fishing town, 11-year-old Emma begins to question the nature of the adults around her. |
