Synopsis:

7th Heaven is an audio-visual travel that over several layers tells the story of Lars Kristian's fight to win understanding and acceptance for himself and his art. We travel from our safe reality through the maze of Lars Kristian's subdued soul. We share his humour, anxiety and razor sharp view against our world from the perspective of a small island on the south coast of Norway. Can we free ourselves from our own biased attitudes and norms, and instead SEE and enjoy his exciting world in a new light?

Lars Kristian Gulbrandsen has made himself, his life and everything he is surrounded by into a living artwork. His abstract paintings are bought by some of the world's biggest galleries, but the local house wives and the bold fishermen see Lars Kristian as a nutcase, and view his paintings as meaningless dabs of colour and his house a chaotic garbage dump.
