A Dog's Life
In addition to these familiar and cherished titles, this edition also contains a delightful 15-minute puppet film from 1958. The film tells the story of Fido, a saw-playing minstrel imbued with tomfoolery and nonsense, and his sweetheart, Bella, who is both sensible and wise. Having wasted all his earnings at fun fairs, Bella persuades him to mend his ways, and he takes work as a joiner in dog town.
Tim and Teddy
You will also get to see Ivo Caprino's very first experimental puppet film, 'Tim and Teddy'. This is a sweet little tale in black and white produced as far back as in 1949. The film deals with the friends and minstrels Tim and Teddy, and the monkey who steals Teddy's mandolin and heads up the mountain to catch him.
