Synopsis:
This first-ever live-action Tintin film was famously set in Istanbul, Turkey, and is considered by many 'tintinologists' to be one of the best Tintin films ever produced. Memorably played by jean-Pierre Talbot, Tintin teams up with his dog Snowy to help their friend Captain haddock (Charles Wilson) travel to Istanbul to collect an inheritance, a ship called the Golden Fleece. An old rust-bucket, the ship's seemingly worthless cargo draws the attention of a devious businessman, forcing our heroes to sail to Greece to escape his evil clutches. The comedy is driven by Captain Haddock, dotty Professor Calculus and the hapless Thompson Twins, all uncanny look alikes of the originals. With Tintin, these characters appear to have walked off the pages of the classic Herge comic. Combining stunning cinematography in exotic locales with excellent action sequences, The Mystery of The Golden Fleece is a must-see for Tintin fans.

Tintin and Captain Haddock try to discover what is so desirable about their old and apparently worthless ship.
