Synopsis:
A Letter to True (2004)
A collection of the director's favorite images of his dogs, friends, and historical world events.

Broken Noses (1987)
This documentary follows former Golden Gloves boxing champion Andy Minsker as he trains hopeful pugilists at the Mount Scott boxing club in Portland, Oregon. Those hoping to master the gentle art receive guidance and philosophical insight from the colorful Minsker.

Let's Get Lost (1988)
Let's Get Lost is a deep Oscar-nominated documentary on the life of jazz trumpeter Chet Baker (1929-1988). After a generous amount of screen time devoted to Baker's American career, from his days with Charlie 'Bird' Parker and Gerry Mulligan to the formation of his own combo, the film dwells upon Baker's lengthy tenure in Europe. Of particular interest are the clips culled from Baker's appearances in Italian films of the 1960s. In-depth interviews with Baker's friends and co-workers paint a portrait of a troubled genius, whose drug addiction and womanizing gradually eroded his talent. Much of the terminal footage is literally that, showing in harsh detail what Chet Baker had become in his last year on earth.

Chop Suey (2001)
In this autobiographical film, Bruce Weber looks back on his career as both photographer and filmmaker. A photographer never knows where their work will take them; this photographer has ended up in the most incredible places - from the catwalks of the world's fashion capitals to the remotest parts of the Arabian desert. Wherever he is, however, one thing never changes, namely the intimacy between photographer and subject.

A Letter to True
Portrait of the director's own dogs (of which 'True' is the favourite) as well as a homage to the affection and loyalty displayed by these animals - and how they have much to teach humankind.

Broken Noses
Shot in black and white and colour, the story centres around a young boxer who is now training others to box.

Let's Get Lost
A James Dean lookalike pretty boy whose jazz trumpeting and melancholy crooning epitomized '50s cool, Chet Baker had become, when famed photographer Bruce Weber finally caught up with him after three decades of fandom, an alcoholic and a junkie. Weber and crew follow Baker on a year-long trek, from the West Coast, to the East Coast, to Europe--including a stop at the Cannes Film Festival--with interviews with Chet, colleagues and friends, including dueling insights from his third wife, a former British show girl, and three children in Oklahoma, and from old flame Ruth Young, a sardonically throaty torch singer.

Chop Suey
Autobiographical film by photographer Bruce Weber, looking back on his career as both photographer and filmmaker. Shows the diverse nature of his work, ranging from fashion catwalks to the remote Arabian desert, and his collaboration with photographic model Peter Johnson.

A Letter to True
A collection of the director's favorite images of his dogs, friends, and historical world events.

Broken Noses
Portrait of Any Minsker, a former lightweight champion who runs a boxing club for teenagers in Portland, Oregon.

Let's Get Lost
Documentary about the life and music of Chet Baker. Features interviews with his wives, girlfriends, other relatives and friends. Baker is shown hanging around in bars, on beaches and at home, as he reflects, in his final year, on his life of drug addiction and massive success in his career. Includes music performance and clips of his few film roles. Filmed in grainy high contrast black-and-white.

Chop Suey
A homage to Bruce Weber's Favourite things, these being mixing film, photography and classic movies. With portraits of a lesbian jazz singer and a 16 year old wrestler.
