Synopsis:

Lisa and Charlie Hunter, a divorced couple and former song writing team, spend a weekend in the French countryside in order to write one last song together. But Charlie's fiance isn't too happy about the idea...

A male-female singer-songwriter team are born in a dingy Paris nightclub, and soon shoot to the top of the charts with the collaboration of a pop starlet. After frustrations and a break up of the team, they go their separate ways only to be reunited years later when asked to write a song for a new film; the couple then rekindles a long past passion.

Tensions run high when a recently-divorced couple are given an offer they can't refuse. Once well-established movie songwriters, Dempsey and Ringwald are thrown together again when a movie producer offers them a rewarding contract to compose a new song. However, old wounds and new love interests guarantee that this job will be anything but easy money.
