Synopsis:

Photojournalist Jake Stringer is gunned down while investigating a case of organ trafficking. He awakens with a scar on his chest on a flight home, arriving to find his world on the brink of a lethal epidemic. At the heart of the disaster, a deadly conspiracy. Stringer's search for answers leads him to secret research farms, government ministries - and his own past.

The excellent Matthew Sutherland (OUT OF THE BLUE) plays a journalist investigating organ trafficking in this local sci-fi digital feature. Flirting with the ethics of transplants and disease hysteria, this sharply imagines a post-apocalyptic scenario within the confines of a limited budget, placed disconcertingly in the here and now.
